Overview

Once a presence sensor has been associated with a service user record, alert configuration can be found within the individual service user activity screen, within the "Alerts" tab:

Default Alert Rules
By default there are 2 available alert rules:

Presence Sensor Offline Alert
This alert notifies users if the presence sensors is shown to be offline for 5 minutes or more. Common reasons for a presence sensor showing offline are:
- Poor wifi signal

- Device unplugged/tampered with

- Power failure

Alert on Presence Detected
This alert notifies users if presence is detected in any region within the room that the presence sensor is location in. This alert can be configured to operate between specific times:

Sub Region Alerts
In order to configure sub region alerts, you must first request for a sub region to be configured on your Presence Sensor. This can be done remotely by the AVERio support team but requires some additional room measurements.

Once configuration is completed on your Presence Sensor, additional rule options will be available within the AVERio alert screen. Individual alerts er sub region can be configured. These alerts notify users when the sub region has been vacated.

Example - a sub region might be configured for the Bed area, allowing notifications to be issued if a service user gets out of bed in the night. Sub region alerts can be configured to operate between specific times. Up to 4 sub regions can be defined per presence sensor.
